 A great "secret" for AV lovers. October 3, 2008
This is a great product- I am using it with the cable box installed in the closet behind my wall mounted LCD. Range is great and response time is FAST.
I highly recommend buying this extender if you're trying to "hide" your cable box or AV equipment.

I tried many of these extenders and this one really works.I tried a radio shack and Jensen what pieces of junk. With this one I have a plasma on the wall and behind the wall is a closet with all the components and this is the cheapest option compared to buying a RF REMOTE

I had to charge the batteries first, but it worked. I am looking to add another transmitter. I have an older style AA battery remote and hope the additional transmitter comes with the AA sleeve.

Despite way too much time invested I could not get the thing to work. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a solution.
Wirless remote extender September 25, 2008
Great product. I am using it to operate my DVD Player that's hidden in my bedroom closet to watch movies on my Plasma in the living room. The instructions is not clear. figuring out which battery goes where and what directions they should be inserted was a nightmare. The batteries are not your normal batteries and they were not charged, so you need to wait at 12-24 hours to be able to use it before you can use it. But I do recommend this product.
