Works as expected. May 9, 2008
It's a battery and it either works or it doesn't. I don't have any stats on how long this battery lasts, but generally they need to be replaced every two years or so, depending on the use. I bought a less expensive battery so I don't know how that is going to impact longevity or uptime in relation to a more expensive battery. I just need something that will keep my system up for a couple of minutes so I can safely save and shut down. Your considerations may vary, so buy accordingly.

Product is GREAT! I had a UPS System that needed a new battery and I installed this one. Was easy to install and has been working perfectly since. I highly recommend it!
New life for an old UPS October 1, 2005

My several-years-old APC BackUPS 650 failed after long and faithful service. The problem was not with the UPS electronics, but merely the battery, so I ordered a replacement. Installation was a no-brainer, taking almost no time at all. Bingo -- the BackUPS is as good as new! I want a longer run-time on my computer for those rare power outages that last more than a few minutes, so I'll be buying a larger APC UPS in the near future. The existing unit will move to a TV and other home entertainment equipment, where I'm confident it will outlast most of the devices I'll plug into it.
