Product Description This 3-way adaptor allows the powering of three electric 12V items (10 Amps MAX) with lighted sockets so you can see them, even in the dark! Geek needs more power July 31, 2008 As a gadget man/computer geek you need more power outlets than average cars provide in 12vdc, this 3-way socket lets you plug-in: GPS, scanner, CB radio, coffee mug warmer cord, map light, a myriad of things needed while driving...
Works well ....a little big for some cars July 19, 2008 Have been using it for 1.5 months and is working perfectly fine. Sturdy design but a little too big for my 98 Acura. So cannot place it behind the gear stick. But the good thing is it has a long wire, so have placed it inside the compartment next to driver's seat. However, the 2008 Toyota Camry i had rented recently had a huge tunnel like design hosting the cigarette lighter socket and this entire devise fitted into it beautifully.
solves multiple charger problems July 18, 2008 During our recent cross-country move, I needed to be able to plug in my cell phone, the GPS and the DVD player for the kids (vital to everyone's general well-being during 3 days in the car.) I only had one working cigarette adapter in the car and needed an easy solution. This adapter worked great the entire time. I chose not to screw it into my console as recommended, but rather put some double sided velcro on the bottom and that worked fine. This is a fantastic product despite the fact that they spelled "socket" wrong in the description.
Great Value June 23, 2008 With all the things we "need" in our vehicles today, this product is a great find. I did pass on the screw-in mount, though, and used Velcro to attach to my dash.
Long distance drive must-have! June 19, 2008 I bought this so I could use: a) my radar detector; b) my ipod (monster); and c) my navigation. Great tool for a great price!!!
