Surprisingly high-quality product from Brookstone April 5, 2008

I don't normally expect a truly high-quality product to come from Brookstone, but the Inner Scan Body Composition Monitor was a very pleasant surprise.
This scale is great for everyone. People who have a passing interest in their weight can easily get a quick weight check as often as they like with no effort at all. Fitness-oriented people will enjoy the high degree of accuracy (0.2 lbs) and the body fat monitor. The truly weight-obsessed will find over a dozen high-end features (which I frankly don't find useful, but that's just me).
For most people, the best features are:
--a row of large, toe-activated buttons on the front edge of the scale. You walk up, tap the button with your toe that has your profile (you can have up to 5 different profiles for different family members) and you step on the scale.
--the above-mentioned multiple profiles. This is really useful for a multi-household family. The scale keeps tabs on your age, gender, etc, to help make more accurate calculations of body mass and fat index.
--Lastly, the scale is very attractive. High-quality glass and steel make the scale look nice and perform well.
