4 out of 5 stars Love Shaving With this BUT...   September 18, 2008
I love the way the cream is thick and does not drip down my legs! Very little product still gives me a very good shave. I will keep buying it.
MY ONLY PROBLEM WITH IT IS...
It is hard for me to get the product of the tube sometimes. My husband helps with that.
Good smell and no razor bumps.
Give it a try unless your arms are VERY weak.
P.S. This is nealy the safest shaving product you can buy according to the EWG.

5 out of 5 stars don't out think the room   September 15, 2008
save the brush talk unless you are grizzly adams or something. i have a medium beard and shave daily. the consistency, scent are great. if i could have given this product a 6 i would. definitely keep separate from your tooth paste.
i use this site for avoiding unnecessary chemicals in my derma products
http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/index.php and tom's score nicely.

5 out of 5 stars WINNER for WOMEN   September 14, 2008
I note that it seems all of the other reviews are written by folks with beards. Okay, that's one application, but not the one that I use.

As a woman, I started using this product almost 10 yrs ago to shave my long, thin legs. Over the decades, I had sliced the skin off of my shins and ankles on numerous occasions. OUCH! Painful and not that pretty.

Tom's shave cream is so thick and luxurious that I almost NEVER nick myself anymore. It simply provides the best lubrication around, so the razor glides over the thin skin on ladies' legs. Also, the rich coconut/glycerine base softens up the regrowth, so it provides the closest shave to your legs that one can imagine. I have used other products when I couldn't find Tom's, but nothing compares to this.

The cream stays where you put it and provides a clear line of demarcation so you can avoid missed patches. Also, since it's NOT a FOAM, it will last through the duration of your shave. No need to reapply the product.

As noted elsewhere, I have numerous topical allergies and NEVER have a reaction to Tom's Mint shave cream. In fact, it leaves my legs feeling silky and refreshed. It has now disappeared from my local shelves and I am thrilled to find it is available from AMAZON!!!!

2 out of 5 stars Doesn't lather up, stays thin   August 23, 2008
I'm actually a diehard Tom's of Maine fan, but this never really lathers up to become a 'cream.' Stays thin on your face, almost like a layer of soap. For folks with thick and fast growing beards like me, I wouldn't recommend it.

Keep it apart from your toothpaste or you'll be in for a surprise. No I didn't, but almost. I like it.
