Excellent for motorcycle riding July 19, 2008 These earplugs were just what my husband wanted. The ones that we found in the local supermarkets and drugstores were too small and inadequate, so he was happy that I found these online. They work very well in reducing motorcycle noise. Thank you for an excellent product!
These are Great... June 25, 2008 I haven't used these earplugs in quite a while, and I can't say *for sure* that they were this brand, but they looked exactly like this, with the nice contoured shape (I hate the ones that are just a cylinder shape with one side (possibly) rounded for easier insertion.
I used to work at a local Punk club, 2-3 shows every weekend for a couple years, and we used earplugs like these - orange in color, bought in bulk and individually (in pairs) wrapped. We had them for free for workers and kids, $0.25 for everyone else.
These were great at such high noise volumes, were easy to insert (and take out and re-use during the same show). I have used other cheap earplugs that just have not fit as nicely, nor have been as efficient at blocking out the noise either.
So again, while I can't state that these were the EXACT Brand that we used, there were like these with a 33dB noise rating, had the same contoured shape, orange color, and made of the same materials.
I think that with all these same specs of the earplugs, that brand name would not make much difference, unless one brand definitely showed inferior manufacturing of the product over another...
The ones we used were great in quality, you felt like you could re-use them over and over again if needed, compared to others that feel like they are falling apart and need to be thrown away for just that reason alone, and not for health safety - dirty earplugs...
I have been dealing with very loud neighbors lately, and my roommate has been bringing home from work cheap earplugs for us to use. I have had nothing good to say about them, and after seeing these and others like these here on Amazon, I am thinking about buying a box to try out and see if they are indeed the same as the ones I used all the time before.
My roommate can use them at work if I don't like them, or maybe get his employers to purchase this brand/type of earplugs instead if we both like them (take a few to work and let the other employees test them out too).
I am confident that anyone would find these of great use and we never found people that these earplugs didn't fit (from babies under 1-2 years old, smaller children, teens, young adults and others ranging in age up to their 60's or so).
They squish down alot when rolled before insertion, and are comfortable if you have smaller ears when they don't fully expand, and they expand enough, and can be inserted a bit further in the ear for people with larger ear openings.
Re-use of product does not effect the expanding of the foam like with some other cheaper earplugs.
Howard Leight Max Ear Plugs April 28, 2008 I use ear plugs for sleeping, and these are the best that I have found for noise reduction. I used to get them at a local store, but we had recently moved and could not find anywhere that carried them, so bought on line. Highly recommend.
Best earplugs April 28, 2008 These earplugs are the best I have used. They provide total isolation from coversations in an office environment and can be worn for long periods of time with no discomfort.
The best earplugs ever! April 24, 2008 These are the best earplugs I have ever used - and I have tried many. My husband snores and we live near a busy highway. These eliminate all sound. And equally important, they do not fall out during the night.
