Product Description Dandruff sufferers will like the way this AHA (14% glycolic acid) helps remove excess scalp scale and reduces flaking and itching. Good for those with seborrhea and psoriasis. May also be used as a body wash to help remove dry, flaking skin. Use a sunscreen with SPF 15 or higher to reduce the risk of increased sun sensitivity.

Results with first use September 6, 2008 I use the Aqua Glycolic Toner and have found it to be a miracle, working when nothing else (not even proactive) did. When I saw that my pubescent son was breaking out all over his back, I got him this and a gentle scrub brush. His acne cleared within days. Now I use it as a body wash too. We do not use it as a shampoo. I think that would be very harsh. it doesn't smell great, but it isn't horrible either. This stuff, and the toner, really work.
Shampoo & Body Cleanser Aqua Glycolic August 21, 2008 I love this product. My dermatologist recommended this when I was 16 I am now hitting my 40's and started to have breakouts again. The fragrance smells like baby powder scent and if its too strong you can dilute it a bit with another liquid soap. I can't take alot of fragrance and this has never bothered me. Just follow the directions and leave on for 2 mins. If you use in the morning I would reccomend a sunscreen. I like to use it at night.
Sounded good in theory! August 5, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using the AG cleanser, toner and hand/body lotion. I really loved the idea of using an all in one shampoo/ body wash. I tend to break out a bit on my scalp as well, so I thought I'd love this. There are 2 things that stand out about this product that make me hate it. The first is the fact that this is so watery, it doesn't seem to lather very well and it doesn't seem to cleanse well. The second is the scent. It is awful! Have you ever smelled Pert Plus? Yeah, the scent makes me nauseous and this has the same very strong scent! I couldn't even detect my conditioner afterwards. I'd rather it didn't have a scent. Every time I'd get a whiff of my hair or body, I couldn't wait to get home and wash my hair and body with something else! This might work for some people, but for me, not so much! It's now used as doggie shampoo.
it worked for me February 27, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is the first time I've written a review on Amazon and I'm only doing it because I feel my experience might be useful to others who have gone through the same thing. I'm a male in my 30s. I buzz my very short - mostly because of hair loss - and I have had problems for years now with acne on my scalp. I've been on several rounds of antibiotics, I've tried lots of soaps. Salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide. You name it, at one point or another over the last 5 years I've tried it.
To make a long story short, I've been using this wash in combination with a 10% benzoyl peroxide gel for the last couple of months and my scalp acne has gone and stayed gone for over a month. Neither product seemed to do the trick alone, but using the two together has worked. And it seems that the Aqua Glycolic helps with the dryness that I was getting from the peroxide.
Just to be clear: at this point, I use the Aqua Glycolic when I shower as a shampoo according to the instructions on the bottle (you have to leave it on for 2-3 minutes). Then after my head has fully dried from the shower I put a thin layer of the benzoyl peroxide over my entire scalp (not sure why this is, but I've found it's best to wait to have it fully dried before putting on the peroxide). Then, I'm done for the day. When I started, I was putting the peroxide on twice a day - now I only to it once. And now, my scalp doesn't get oily over the course of the day like it used to and I am virtually completely acne free.
Oh, and while benzoyl peroxide supposedly bleaches hair and is bad for people who dye their hair, I don't dye my hair and it hasn't really bleached my black (slightly graying) hair. And, besides, it really doesn't matter since my head is practically shaved anyway. Regardless, I'd rather have it bleach a little than have the acne.
Anyway, I have no idea if this will work for others. I'm just sharing my experience. But I've been extremely satisfied by the results and I'm convinced this wash has a lot to do with it. I expect I'll be using it indefinitely into the future. Hopefully, this might be effective for others also.

I am reviewing things that I think people need to know about. This review and all of my others are things that I have that I recomend to you. Aqua Glycolic is a great lotion and shampoo. However it does not stop there! Aqua Gycolic also is in the form of Facial Cleansing and oil skin therapy toner. This is what really is helpful and effective. They are Dermatologist reccomended and so do I.
