Unlike ordinary surge protectors, advanced Monster PowerCenters also actively monitor incoming power and automatically disconnect your valuable equipment before damage occurs. Microprocessor controlled T2 Disconnect/Reconnect circuitry not only protects your AV equipment, but protects your PowerCenter as well. The T2 protection circuitry automatically disconnects the PowerCenter and all of your connected AV equipment when it senses dangerous power conditions, completely isolating them from sags, spikes, and surges. T2 continues to actively monitor power conditions, then automatically reconnects when AC power returns to normal. Beautiful power center August 15, 2008
Fortunately we haven't had any major surges to test this power center, but the quality of this product is wonderful! Very solid, nice looking, heavy duty power cord and frame. It's nice to be able to see the voltage right from the digital output. Seems like it is a well made product! I'm so glad we bought it to protect our new Samsung LN46A750 HDTV.
Features galore - for a power filter and surge protector July 12, 2008
I have had this powercenter for about 5 days now and I very happy with it. It is large, has a very long wall cord, and plenty of plugins for power, coax, phone, and even network connections. The two sides of the power strip are separated for audio and video to minimize interference. The voltage meter (LCD display) is a confidence meter that your power supply coming into it is what it is supposed to be. Larger than what I wanted, but I also wanted the extra protection so it worked for me. Amazon's pricing was extremely competitive, as usual, and I got more features than other similarly priced protectors in my local stores. I am using it on my Samsung 46" LCD tv, Onkyo home theater system with DVD and subwoofer, and the Cable box DVR. Handles it all very well.

This is a great surge protector for the money. I would recommend this to anyone getting an HDTV. It has features that are usually on more expensive surge protector. I have had mine for 60 days, with no problem. Amazon shipped on time and at a great price.

Terrific purchase experience, the product has performed very well. The best part is that I saved almost $80 by purchasing the product from Amazon retailer ANTOnline compared to the price im my local electronics store. ANTOnline even delivered the product ahead of schedule!
