Unreliable and Unsupported May 9, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
One day after buying this product I attempted to contact customer support to tell them that the picture become distorted whenever it wrote to the CF card. This makes the "motion detection" feature totally worthless as the device generates its own motion. The company never responded to my request for assistance. Amazon provided a quick refund.
The wireless feature worked great. I could put the camera downstairs on one side of the house and walk upstairs to the other side and get a very clear picture.
The camera is definitely built only for indoor use and doesn't work effectively through a window. I tried playing back the picture through a large screen and it has very little detail unless someone is standing right in front of the camera. If you need to watch someone/something that's five or ten feet away and you can point the camera right at it, it might be effective.
