Product Description Life doesn't give you second chances to capture special times. That's why the elegant PowerShot A570 IS is equipped with Canon's acclaimed Image Stabilizer Technology that automatically detects and corrects camera shake - one of the leading causes of fuzzy or blurred shots. So now even when you're zooming in tight you can get the steady, crisp, brilliant images. With DIGIC III, you get images of superior quality, the camera functions at top efficiency and battery life is significantly enhanced. What's more, DIGIC III enables Canon's newly improved Face Detection Technology and Red-eye Correction to give you better, more true-to-life people shots. Beside stills there's highly flexible movie mode, you can create the movie that's perfect for any application. Canon PowerShot A570IS 7.1MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom July 19, 2008 Great product and great price. Delivery was slow but the seller kept me informed throughout the process. The camera is what it is - a happy snappy, user friendly, point and shoot; its good in good light.
I bought 2 and would do so again. Happy.
My dream camera July 16, 2008 This camera arrived in a timely manner. It is my first camera and I am very excited to have something tailored made for a novice!
It keeps turning itself off! July 12, 2008 It's on for 1 second and then it shuts itself off. It's really annoying. Don't get this camera. Before you can aim for the picture it's turned itself off. I have to get a new camera that actually stays on so I can shoot a picture.
very good buy July 11, 2008 moneys worth excellent compact camera although i prefer a full camera. nevertheless, a worthwhile camera
Lens problem after only 9 months July 5, 2008 Lens won't retract and the error message "Lens error, restart camera" displays on the rear screen every time I power on/off the camera. After doing a web search, turns out many other Canon point/shoot digital camera owners have been experiencing the same "lens error" issue. I will take my camera to the repair shop since it is still under warranty. But I won't be buying a Canon again.
