better than Belkin radio adapter August 17, 2008 My son is very pleased with the Philips cassette adapter for his Ipod. The sound quality is much better than his Belkin radio adapter.
great buy August 5, 2008 I am using this tape adapter with my I-pod Nano and it really works great. There is no sound distortion at all. Simple plug and play and now I can take my I-pod with me for long trips.
satisfied July 7, 2008 Had a little trouble at first getting the adapter to work. Seller was very helpful. Once I reversed the wire as he suggested, worked great.
Great when it works... and a possible fix for when it doesn't July 5, 2008 I needed a new cassette adaptor to replace an old Belkin model that was making too much noise, so I got three of these-one for a Monsoon stereo in a Passat, one for a stereo in a 203 Caravan and one for a 13-year-old stereo in a boat. They worked great in the Caravan and boat, but the first one I tried only worked intermittently in the Passat the first day, and then stopped working altogether. I removed the tension wheel from inside the adaptor and it didn't fix the problem, but when I switched it with one of the other (non-modified) adaptors, the other one worked fine. I'm sure the problem is related to the auto-reverse feature of the Monsoon stereo, and am guessing that it's related to the amount of tension that the tension wheel is applying. There's a straight metal spring element that can be bent to adjust the amount of tension, for others who might find themselves in a similar situation.
An Option that works June 27, 2008 After the CD player in my truck crapped out, I bought this product to connect up my Sansa Clip MP3 player. It works fine. It was a cheap and better alternative to the CD player.
