Wouldn't want to buy another. May 17, 2008 Unless the company gives me a card to test with, I wouldn't buy another one because I lost a lot of good images and video recordings from my recent travel. I kept getting "memory error" after 10 to 15 shots. In a pinch, I went out and bought a brand I never heard of but it works much better than this one. I sent it back for a refund to Amazon, still waiting... Amazon is great with return shipping policy, providing free return postage slip, hope it is reliable as well.
Kingston delivers with a great product at a great price. May 17, 2008 Micro SD's are more popular now because of the PDA explosion (e.g. Blackberry, Motorola Moto Q9h, Samsung Black Jack, etc.).
I haven't seen a Micro SD be used for a digital camera device yet, so I'll guess it's mostly these PDA type devices that they are being purchased for.
Buyer beware! If your PDA device specifically states it can only support up to 2gb in the expansion memory slot, then anything over that size may not work.
I bought this 4gb Kingston Micro SD with adapter for a Motorola Moto Q9h (AT&T), and it failed to recognize the Micro SD. It detected it, and let me know how much memory was there, but it would give me an error and would NOT allow me to save to it, or open the file I had on it. So, I sent the Moto Q9h back and replaced with a Blackberry Curve 8300, which also stated that it had an expansion slot which would support up to a 2gb Micro SD. However, I tested it with another Blackberry 8300 model and it worked.
So, make sure that the Micro SD you're buying will work with your device. The safest bet is to go into the store and try it on your device.
The other thing, Motorola has failed in all aspects to compete in the PDA phone market. If you're thinking of buying a PDA phone device, avoid the Motorola. It failed in many way than just the expansion slot not working. I think the Windows Mobile OS was the other problem.
Good price for space May 16, 2008 Kingston is a very nice brand, I have a 2GB and a 4GB card, both of them work really well. The only little thing I don't like about this card is that maybe it's a little, just a little, bit slow. Other than that it's perfect, reliable and cheap.
Great stuff for less May 15, 2008 It works great with my Razr V3xx, and it costs less than other brands. I highly recommend for those who like to store more games and other media on their cellphone.
Works Fine May 14, 2008 This product works just fine. I use it in a Zoom H2 digital recorder and it gave me no problems. To transfer files to a computer, I removed the card and used a SanDisk card reader. Again, no problem whatsoever. I am a fan of Kingston computer memory as well as flash memory because I have never had a problem with any of their products, and their prices are very reasonable compared to the competition (when it comes to name-brand stuff). Kingston is always my first choice.
