 Great little Battery for a digital camera. July 25, 2008
I just had a chance to use these batteries today and am impressed that you can use them right out of the box (Pre charged). I'm sure that they will last a while. Be sure to buy a quality charger as well. I would recommend the La Crosse BC-900. The La Crosse has multiple current settings so that you will not burn out your reusable batteries over a short period of time.

I just replaced my rechargeable batteries with eneloop. The best I have ever used. I'm getting two full rounds on my skycaddie with them. Convenient recharger - nice and compact for travel. Would give this *****
The best rechargeable battery you can buy! July 19, 2008
I did not believe what I read about the Sanyo Eneloop Recharbeable battery but I had to see for myself. Well, I was not disappointed. I put the batteries right from the package into my camera. I took pictures with the same camera at a picnic and a couplel of weeks later I took it on a week's vacation in Maine where I took about 80 pictures. The the batteries in the camera are still strong enough to take more pictures--I never had to use the two spare batteries that I took along.
The rechargeable batteries I had been using had no shelf life--not even a full week. I only have had the Eneloop for about three weeks, so I don/t know how long the shelf life is, but it is at least 1,000 percent longer the batteries I have been using.
