 doesn't have a headset jack June 30, 2008
I love Uniden phones, but I realized after receiving this one that it doesn't have a headset jack. I often talk on the phone while cooking or doing things around the house, and for that it is really nice to have a headset jack. I sold the one I bought and bought nearly the same thing but with a headset jack.

Got this for my mom. A cordless phone and caller ID were a "new world" for her. Had a GE model first that sucked and it went right back to Target. The Uniden seems to be fine. Be sure to set the settings to "Talk immediately" so there is no need to fumble with the keypad when you answer. I personally love the fact that only one unit has to plug into a phone jack. Not unique to Uniden, but great to have (no drilling holes and running wires in the basement). I would give this a thumbs up. Mind you, like ANY cordless, you will get fade and static from time to time...it's the nature of the beast. But, so far, so good!

great sound, feel and range January 26, 2008
This phone has very good sound, features and a nice quality feel to it. The answering machine portion is basic but works well. Good battery life as well. Phone looke nice too but that is subjective.. I am very pleased with this phone...have it for few months now. I purchased another Uniden phone last week and it is HORRIBLE..see my other reviews..
