Once it's closed - too hard to open it up again. Makes your NWZ-A818 look much bigger than actual size. But it's a real good case after all. Although, I should've gone for silicon one!

Great little case. Have had no problems with it - I was concerned that it would be difficult to quickly take the unit out and put it back in the case but that has not been an issue. The controls on the case match up perfectly with the controls on the unit. It provides full access to the docking connector and the headphone jack. The only issue I have is that you do have to take the unit out to put it in the optional dock, which is the case with most of these setups (have to do the same w/ my various other DAPs) - but it would be nice if you didn't have to do that. Also - it would be cool if they put a little fold-out stand on it so you could set it down on a table to watch videos.

The case is very durable, maybe even bulletproof! Okay, maybe not that tough. It fits perfectly over the Sony Walkman, it's not loose. The buttons are rubber which make the buttons easier to push. Although it increases the Walkman by about 1/3 of it's nice compact size, the new controls and durably shell certainly make this a worthwhile purchase.

- DURABLE!
- Buttons are very nice!
- Access to all the ports
CONS
- Slightly bigger than the Walkman alone
- Clear case gets smudged easily
