It's definitely a 4gb usb flash drive. It's definitely way smaller than your average flash drive. and It's got a metal enclosure. My last drive was a kingmax 2gb little tiny guy. It was slightly smaller than this drive (basically the same size without the metal enclosure) but the plastic on the kingmax drive ultimately cracked and I was afraid I would lose it off the keychain, although it did make it through the washer and dryer intact.
This drive promises to be equally rugged, with a slightly stronger keychain-drive connector.
