 Great Product August 2, 2008
This product works as described. I've hade it installed for a few weeks now and it works great. Just make sure you don't go over the weight limit. Other than that it's a great product, well built and solid design.
Great shelf July 2, 2008
I purchased this shelf to hold components for the new flat panel TV I purchased. The Dish box and the DVD player fit nicely. It was easy to install and I like that it is clear so it doesn't seem bulky above the low-profile TV. Works perfectly for our needs.
Component Shelf June 20, 2008
The component shelf is pretty strong. I bought two. One is currently holding a Yamaha Receiver which weights approx. 22bls and the other is holding a 5 disc changer/ DVD Player and a cable box. Please note that the shelf is more likely designed for something a bit bigger than your cable box, such as a receiver, DVD Player etc.

The shelf works great. We only know that from other ones we have purchased.(not through Amazon)
We ordered two of these shelves (we install flat screen t.v.'s) because our distributor had none in stock and we needed two for an install.
We ordered them on May 7 and never received them!!
Amazon sent us a tracking # SPOOFED_ANS. I knew something was wrong so I e-mailed Amazon and Amazon wrote back saying not to worry, everything was fine and we would receive our order. Order never came so we called Amazon and they said not to worry, our order would arrive.
This went on for days....finally on May 26 we were given a refund.
This was such a pain! We would have tried to find the shelves elsewhere and had our install finished and complete but instead Amazon kept telling us not to worry!
It all worked out in the end. We purchased different shelves for our customer and he loved the way the install turned out.
We have ordered from Amazon many times with no problem, but after this we will try to avoid Amazon at all cost, it was a total hassle dealing with Amazon when you have a problem.

NIce shelf, although it sticks very far away from the wall if you place it in the correct spot it wont get in the way.
The plastic cover looks a little on the cheap side if you look at it from up close, otherwise its ok.
