Antec Nine Hundred Case is Awesome October 3, 2008 This case is the best case I have had in some time, I like having fans on my drives, I don't have to worry about them getting hot and the built in LED's let me know when they are running, the large fan at the top is a bonus. over all I have no complaints about this case, very satisfied.
Great Case September 23, 2008 I absolutely love this case. Lots of air movement, much more so than your average case (very important to help keep things cool.) The blue LED's and the window on the side are an eye pleaser. I definitely recommend this case for anyone building a gaming PC.
Awesome case September 7, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have built several computers and it seems that no matter how large a case I get there is not enough room. This cases finally changed all of that.
First of all, it mounts the power supply at the bottom of the case, with plenty of room at the bottom for cable management. I suppose the purist would say this is a problem because the fan on the power supply would be more likely to suck in pet fur and the like from the ground. However, I found it VERY helpful.
Second, the drives come out the FRONT. This means you do not have to pull out drive cages and the like to work on a single drive. It also means you do not need to pull cards off your motherboard just to add or remove a drive. Previous cases have literally forced me to remove all of the components from my motherboard just to perform drive maintenance.
The room inside the case is plenty. You have the flexibility for cable management, as well as adding the large new video cards without cramping other components.
Of course, this case looks totally cool. Not only do the LEDs on the fans give it an awesome glow, but the fans and air vents keep the insides of this case cool. The 200mm fan on top is just the beginning. There are two fans mounted in the front to provide cool air. Additional fans are also provided to keep your video card and processor cool. In fact, they provided so many fans, I could not find homes for all of them (and each of them had the LED lights in them).
I cannot recommend this case strongly enough for someone who wants to build a serious system. If you just need a case for mom's computer, then go buy something cheaper...this case carries a premium price--and that is without a power supply.
User friendly computer case September 3, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am pleased with most of the attributes of the Antec computer case. However, if you're mobo is a mini ATX and you are using a standard power supply, the wire to power up the mobo might just block out the possibility of installing a graphic card in the PCIe slot. It would've been nicer if the cooling fan of the transparent side-panel was included in the purchase. The possibility of removing HDD's without having to dismantle anything else is a very handy attribute, especially when you can screw/unscrew everything by only using your fingers.
Nice, coooool August 25, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This case is awesome, cool, the only thing you need is a great power supply with the cables with enought lenght, one thing to consider is that the Power on cables, reset cables and 2 more that I don't remember well don't have the necessary lenght for the X48 Intel Motherboard, but is a little issue, with a little imagination you can handdle it. The position to intall the power supply its at the bottom of the case, not at the top as usually find in other motherboards, take this in consideration. First time every to buy an expensive case, but Im happy about it, I usually did not spent more than $40 for a case, but a good friend of mine told me that if I want to be a gamer I need a good and cool case, with a good power supply also.
