Great capacity! July 18, 2008 I got this to go with my M3DS flashcart, and it works wonderfully with that. The USB reader is small and fits discreetly on my keychain.
Happy with Performance July 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this item for my Blackberry Pearl 8110. It was simple to use and put into my phone. I have been pleased with it's performance. Instead of the total of the 8GB, it only registers on my phone at 7.6GB. I have so much more storage that I don't even think that I will be able to fill it all. I am happy with this item.
Amazing! July 17, 2008 This is the most adorable little thing. Who would imagine they can get 8 GB of memory onto something the size of a pinky nail? The bonus for me was the cute little card reader that came with it. It's so much smaller than the adapter for an SD card. It comes with a small lanyard and an easily detachable clip, so you can carry it on your keys. I hooked the lanyard to it but will only use it at home, as I'm using the memory card in my Samsung Instinct. This would be great for transferring work files to & from. Also it should be noted that the card reader is VERY lightweight while still being sturdy.
Works great on Blackberry curve 8310 July 16, 2008 Blackberry curve 8310 with 4.2 build recognize only 4gb. If you format this card in Curve you will get only 4gb. Format (ntfs) using Windows and then insert it into blackberry to use the whole 8 gb.
If I go to Options->Media Card -> mine says Total space available 7.5GB
An 8Gb Thumbdrive / MicroSD card for So Little Money July 14, 2008 Works perfectly in my Nokia N95-3. Hey, I've now got a N95 8Gb phone!
This card is an absolute no brainer to buy. If your phone will not accept a MicroSDHC card (you're stuck with a 2Gb limit and you can't return this HC card), you actually just bought an 8Gb USB Thumdrive that is very near the smallest thumbdrive I've ever seen (the Sony MicroVaults in radioactive colors are slightly smaller), for less than the price of most 2Gb thumbdrives.
This thing is a total win - win. The other bright side, when you remove your 512Mb or 1Gb microSD card from your phone, plug that old card into the USB holder and you've now got a USB thumbdrive in 512 or 1Gb.
The reader does make it super fast and simple to transfer content from your old card to your new one. It's absolutely brilliant.
Yes the one single bad thing about this card - the packaging. Yes it is way over packaged. Sandisk really needs to move to the packaging they use for Costco, and drop this darn clamshell nonsense.
