| Customer Reviews:
Does everything I need and then some July 24, 2008 Bought this to replace a previous Sony charger that I lost. Works the same with a bit more features, especially like the lcd display which my old one did not have. Display is not an absolute must, but handy for giving me an idea of how much longer batteries need to recharge fully. However, not as convenient as it requires a AC cable, old one had a built in plug.
Functional but slow July 21, 2008 The recharger does just what it is supposed to do. I like the visible readout of the process as it is proceeding on the LCD. I have another recharger which has a fast and trickle mode. The fast mode may not bring it to full charge, but does provide enough for using the batteries in about an hour. This charger has only a single speed, and takes a few hours to reach full recharge. The Sony machine on the other hand is small and cleanly designed. The 2700 mAmp batteries are great -- much more longlasting than the usual 2000 or 2200 type, and worth perhaps half the cost of the unit.
Perfect Charger. Little extra cost well worth it. July 7, 2008 Works very well. The little extra cost gets you battery meter, sturdy and slick casing, and a refresh feature that will drain your battery before starting charge. Well worth spending a few more $ to get better quality from sony.
Fast & efficient June 29, 2008 Really glad I bought this unit. It's fast and easy to use. Didn't know when I bought it that it could also recondition batteries. That, and the LCD display are a definite plus. It's also contoured very nicely so it slides in and out of camera/computer case pockets easily.
Bad batteries June 27, 2008 I believe I received faulty batteries with this charger. Would charge them, leave for one day and my camera would not even power up. Tried several times to recharge and ended up throwing them into the garbage can.
