3 out of 5 stars Works well when installed, but it won't come off.   July 25, 2008

I installed the dual off camera ettl2 flash synch cord on a Canon 30D with two flashes mounted on a dual arm macro bracket. It was a bit heavy with all the gear, but the setup produced beautiful results. The problem is a small "locking" wire extending from the bottom of the connector becomes lodged in a threaded hole on the hotshoe. The connector will not come off. I even took it to a Canon factory authorized repair facility and they had to break the connector to remove it. If you don't mind a permanent setup, then this may work for you.

4 out of 5 stars works as it should   June 7, 2008
it works. a bit pricey but in comparison to canon products, it's a good buy. fittings seem solid, and cable is of nice quality. i rated it a 4-star because of price and its lack of 1/4-20 screw mounts as an option (it only has hotshoe mounts).

5 out of 5 stars Perfect functionality for little coin   April 6, 2008
What can I say - it claims to fire two flashes with the newest Canon EOS ETTL II flash system and, well, it fires two flashes and is fully compatible with ETTL II. I'm happy.
