I ordered this thinking it was a slave flash, the description of the site was very brief and didnt make it clear (to me at least) that the way this works. You can hook it to most flashes and it turns them into a flash activated flash. I use it with my Olympus E-500 and a Sunpak 383 flash. The only downside is that you have to make sure it is close enough to your main flash so it picks it up and fires. It also feels very "cheap", but hey its only $16.
I also use one of these with a Olympus FL-50.
"I also use one of these with a Olympus FL-50." It works, but not very well, I dont think the firing pin matches up exactly. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I think with a little modifying it should work though.
