I bought this film last month for about five dollars less and I just now noticed that they sent me the wrong film. Rather than sending me 600 film I got three packs of 779. So I got an even better deal.
The color still isn't as true on the 779, it has a darker saturation giving it this vintage feel. As an avid artist, I do lots of photography work along side painting and drawing. For the artist, this film is very nice if they like color distortion. For every day use, the user may be more satisfied with a 35mm film or digital camera.
Expensive but good August 3, 2007
As described, the film is expensive, only 10 exposures in each pack so you have to scale down the snapping if you have become used to digital. Buying it as a 3 packs saves a bit.

I ordered polaroid film packs to be used for the patients at the Shriners Hospital for children. The order came in the form of 10 individual packs instead of 5 dual packs. The film is of equal value and when questioned I was given a courtious explanation. Will do business again.

Excellent product when you need a fast, portable photo that's quickly available for reference. I used the film on a movie shoot. It was indispensible for continuity checks; much faster than trying to use a digital camera.
