 great zoom lens September 30, 2008
This is a really nice zoom lens. It is quick and focuses quickly. It is a little louder than my other Nikkor zoom lens, but for the money, it is certainly worth it!

When I received my new Lens in the mail I was very excited. I could not wait until I could try it out on my D40 Camera. It was very easy to use and adjust. I took over 100 pictures the first time of birds, insects, flowers and closeup shots of my grandkids. When downloaded on my computer to view the pictures I was amazed at the clarity of the shots. I love the way it handles. It was lighter than I thought it was going to be but I was having a little trouble holding the camera steady at first. I will be getting a tripod to use with it for still pictures. Thank you so much for making this item available to us.

I have the Nikon D60 I think it's the best lens for this price ,but the bad thing is that is not VD, if your are not a professional photographer this lens can be a little difficult for taking pictures because of this. I'm telling you again its a really good lens.

If you're on a budget or just getting started, this lens does the job. Buy this lens and get used to it before you try and upgrade. You'll be happy you did since it may take a while before you enter the pro division. Spend your money on other needed gear.

I ordered this for my wife. The ordering process was easy and the company was a breeze to deal with. Good communication and fast shipping. Now on to the lens. It produces crystal clear photos and runs smoothly with her Nikon D40x camera in either manual or auto mode. She's very happy which means I'm very happy. Thanks.
