Canon Camera Case January 24, 2008 Just like the camera that goes in it, small and compact for people on the go. Rugged enough to hang in there wherever you are and the little zipper slot in front is perfect for the cards. Would have liked it even more if it had a sling or shoulder strap but, it has a belt loop.
Canon PSC-85 Deluxe Soft Case January 23, 2008 I purchased this case fot my Canon A720IS. It perfectly fits to the camara. Even has a small pocket for an extra memory card.
Don't buy it if you require a shoulder strap January 20, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for the new Canon A570IS camera I purchased for Christmas. The case itself is very solid and nice looking. But, had I known that it did NOT have a shoulder strap, I would have never purchased it. That's plain stupid to not have a shoulder strap. Only the cheapest $2 camera cases at Wal Mart or otherwise do not have a shoulder strap. I inquired about returning back to Digital Etc. for a refund, and they said they would take it back. I paid almost $5 for shipping, then if I return it, I have to pay for that shipping, and they charge me a 15% restocking fee. Hardly worth returning. If you REALLY want this case for a reasonable price, contact me and I will make you a deal. Otherwise I am going to list it on eBay.
Good Quality, Poor Design January 16, 2008 I purchased this soft case at the same time as my A720IS camera. The materials and workmanship are top quality and this semi stiff padded case will afford very good protection for my camera. The one major disappointment which results in my limited use of the case (and only 3 stars) is due to the lack of extra battery storage. There is a small zippered opening allowing a spare memory card/chip and that's it. So when taking my camera on extended trips longer than one day, or when I know I'll be shooting a lot of stills with flash or a lot of video on the camera when I will need extra batteries this case stays home and I grab another that has battery storage room.
Canon could have provided a small pouch on either side of the case that would fit a spare pair of AA batteries and this would be a 5 star product.
canon powershot case January 15, 2008 This is a pretty sturdy case, and it also has a slot on the back so you can slide it onto your belt, which is a cool feature I didn't see listed. One downside is that there's only enough space to put your SD cards, but not any spare batteries. Overall, it's still ok.
