Great camera July 19, 2008 I have had this camera for 3 weeks now and it is great. I am using it as a petcam for my dogs while away from my house and so far it has been wonderful. The quality is great for the price of the camera, and the pan/tilt is very helpful. I set the camera up in about a hour, with the free website you get with the camera. You don't have to be technically savvy to set it up, it has detailed step by step instructions. Definitely worth the price!!!
It's doesn't get easier than this... July 9, 2008 Installed the camera and was up and running in 5 minutes. It doesn't get easier that that. I used my existing LINKSYS router that I purchased for wireless access for our PC's.
Decided to go with wired since the router is in my home office and plan to use it for telecommuting purposes. You can't beat the price!!!
I do plan to purchase at least a couple more (wireless) for home security purposes.
GUYS: Read and follow the directions!!!!
Great for the money May 20, 2008 I highly recommend this camera WHEN YOU FACTOR IN THE COST. I have DSL (PPPoe)and according to some documentation with Panic-sonic, it does not like DSL. Have not had any problems at all. Maybe the firmware update and also I am using Cat6 ethernet cable...?
Panasonic BL-C111A Network Camera Wired April 27, 2008 Setup was easy and works as advertised. I own 3 of them. Make sure the camera is upgraded to most current version of firmware.
Disappointed April 1, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased three of these cameras. So far no luck getting them operational even with several calls to Panasonic Tech support and Lynksis. Not Plug & Play-at all. Still may get them going with paid help from computer person.
