2 out of 5 stars Wouldn't recomend to my friends   March 15, 2008
This phone has always had very clear calls, but that's really the only good thing I can say about it. The PTT button is in a very bad place. I am always hitting it. The display keeps going out. It likes to shut off on it's own sometimes and freezes quite often. My sister had the same phone and had the same problems.

3 out of 5 stars Great Phone Horrible PTT Button   February 15, 2008
All features of this phone excellent but need to be able to disable the PTT button. Each time I reach into the place in my purse or pocket to retrieve the phone when it is ringing, my finger grip includes the PTT button. It sends a busy signal to the person calling me then I have to re-dial them. I have asked about 5 different Cingular/AT&T employees at different locations to see if it can be disabled. Most just want to sell me a new phone. Two said they had disabled it, but not true. Have changed where I keep the phone and how I reach for it but haven't eliminated the problem. Otherwise, it is my favorite style phone.

1 out of 5 stars the worst ever!   February 6, 2008
I only rated this a one star because the alarm actually wakes me up in the morning and I am a heavy sleeper! Other than that, this phone is absolutely the worst ever phone created! It turns off on its own...the sound goes in and out (for a whole day i couldn't hear anything anybody i called was saying!)...the plastic screen cover has come off...the battery dies in like 4 hours after only like 2, 30 min conversations! Just terriable! I have only had the phone 2 months and I am willing to pay full price to get a replacement! Please do not buy it even if you are on a budget, it will be a waste of money because you will eventually have to pay to replace it!

1 out of 5 stars Display kept breaking...   February 5, 2008
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

I am on my third phone from them because each time it breaks, AT&T will only send me the same type of phone. They say that if it breaks one more time, they will send me a different type. The reason why I had to send my phones back was because the screens would stop displaying anything after a while. I know two friends that had the same phone and both encountered the same problems. The phone itself is easy to use and nice, but the display breaking so often is not very much fun...

4 out of 5 stars Good Phone   January 29, 2008
I was amazed to see so many negative reviews, as well. I've used my phone for about a year and a half and the only problem I have is, occasionally, the phone will tell me to insert a sim card and I will have to turn the phone off and back on again to reset it. There is also the issue of the phone taking pictures inside my purse, but it doesn't happen very often and it's not a lot of trouble to delete the pictures. It will only take pictures if you have the MENU on the screen. Leave it on the main screen and it won't take pictures.

I LOVE the long battery life. I use my phone about 300 minutes a month and I only have to charge the phone maybe, twice a week. I leave it on the charger overnight so it gets a good, solid charge and it holds up well.

I've dropped it a few times and it still works fine. Because of the issue with the message telling me I needed to insert a sim card, I was considering extending my phone plan and getting a new phone, but when I saw the reviews on the other phones, I realized how much better this phone is. This phone is SMALLER than most, LIGHTER than most, and has a longer battery/stand-by life than most. I'm keeping my phone.
