5 out of 5 stars Gr8 Phone!   April 30, 2008

This is the BEST prepaid cell phone I've ever used. I've been using prepaid cell phones for about 7 years. This one is sleek, slim and with all the features I've wanted... the VGA camera takes clear pictures. The 4X zoom is also nice. However, the PROGRAMING is the BEST Feature! Easy to program with a 12 item icon or word menu! I have been very frustrated with the dinosaur phone selection with prepaid services, unless you plan to spend $200 and UP for a decent phone!

This one is only available with Net 10. Believe me, Cell phone companies do NOT want to let you know how inexpensive a prepaid service can be. Verizon is the ONLT CELL phone service that charges a monthly fee! Why bother? I've just switched to NET 10. The price for minutes is good and this phone is excellant!

4 out of 5 stars Get Phone - Bad Provider   April 27, 2008

Motorola W375 is a great phone but like the other reviewer, it is true that Net10 has disabled a few necessary features that make this phone such a great deal. No, you can't upload your photo's to your pc so you can't print out your memories. I have had to send my photo's to my best friends cell, she then uploads them and emails them to my pc. Really don't like having to impose on her (good thing I now keep my digital camera with me all the time). Unfortunately, next year our family will go back to a family plan with another carrier. I guess you truely get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Prepaid Camera Phone   April 17, 2008

I have used other prepaid phones before, but this is the nicest one so far. I like the slim size and the sleek black color. I also love the camera. I also have a contract phone, and the camera on my Net 10 W375 takes much clearer pictures than the contract phone. I took pictures of some of my son's paintings with my Net 10 phone and used them as wallpaper for the main display on the phone. I also love that the sound is so clear on the Net 10. I plan to cancel my contract phone and just use my W375.
With Net 10 anybody can afford to have a cell phone.

3 out of 5 stars Good enough... for a prepay.   March 30, 2008

This phone is one of the better phones out there for the money. It does have some small quirks. My main one is.... For a company that says its not evil, NET10 should not have disabled parts of the phone, the USB storage capability. One of the reasons I went pre-paid is because I was tired of companies disabling parts of their phone to get you to go through them for everything.

Secondly, once in a while the light on the front cover will not notify you of all messages. But I don't mind flipping the phone open from time to time.

All the same the reception is good and the net10 service has been acceptable for the price. I dont regret my purchase. But I am seriously put off by the idea of disabling my ability, to get my own ringers on the phone...
Net10 mostly not evil.

1 out of 5 stars Net10 disabled   March 15, 2008

Net10 has disabled the web browser except for their site. Additionally Net10 has disabled the USB mass storage class compatibility. So when you plug it in, it beeps...and then does nothing. You are supposed to immediately get a prompt asking you if you want to enter storage mode or something but it never shows up. You won't be able to transfer your pictures or anything else to computer or back. Additionally it has a small memory and cannot use flash cards. I feel very ripped off. The USB compatibility was the most important aspect. Heck, you even need drivers just to charge it thru the computer.
