1 out of 5 stars earloops   September 28, 2008
how could a company put so much quality in the electronics and then put mickey mouse earloops with it? Ive broke the original ones plus four more, and now they are out of stock! so it will sit, until I can find some.

1 out of 5 stars Dissatisfied about the product.   September 28, 2008
I was not able to make a single call with a clear voice quality with this product. With every call the other person on the line complains that they don't hear properly or voice getting cut etc.

I am really disappointed with the product.

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Earpiece   September 20, 2008
Read a lot of reviews on this earpiece and I must say that it does deliver. Once you get used to how to put it on quickly, you will be very impressed with it. I can roll my windows down and talk on the phone without the other person hearing the outside noise. That's impressive. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is, I'm personally not fond of the earloop. I have tried the earbuds and they do work.

5 out of 5 stars Original Jawbone is best   September 20, 2008
I've been a fan of the original Jawbone for a long time. It's fantastic! After I broke mine, I tried the new Jawbone for a couple of weeks. It isn't as good. I've now purchased another original one and am happy again.

Three shortcomings of the new Jawbone: (a) battery life is too short; it died 4-5 times in two weeks; the old one has a longer battery and it died only a couple of times in well over a year; (b) the ear loop on the new one does not provide nearly the hold to the face as the old one; people were complaining because the Jawbone would fall away from my jaw and cancel my own voice; (c) the new one was not as good as maintaining a Bluetooth connection with my phone.

I highly recommend the original Jawbone - it's still the best headset that I've ever tried.

5 out of 5 stars Pretty darn good.   September 18, 2008
Lets face it, most bluetooth headsets arent worth a darn. its just the cell phone manufacturers trying to make an extra buck selling a piece of plastic with a speaker and mic and charging an arm and a leg because its "bluetooth". Well i have to tell you the Jawbone is the exception to the rule. You all know about the noise reduction on this headset. So i won't go into that more than to say its no lie its as good as advertised. and the incoming sound is great as well. at first i did'nt like it. it sounded a little tinny but i found that that was their voice with all the unnecessary frequencies elimated. they are much easier to understand. It kinda sounds like the incoming sound you hear when people talk on aircraft radios.
The real enjoyment for me with this headset is the design and materials. first the ear loop is metal with a rubber cover which is great cause you can bend it for a perfect fit. I guess i have weird ears cause most of the headsets ive tried just dont fit. But with the jawbone i can just bend away without taking a hair dryer to it to melt the plastic to bend it. And second most of these in ear headsets require a snug fit in the ear canal. But who among us really finds that comfortable? maybe its just me but it really burns after a while. With the jawbone as long as the ear bud is near the ear canal you can hear it just fine, and it still doesn't wiggle off your ear because of the ability to mold the ear loop to fit. so all in all i have to give it a 5, cause as bluetooth headsets go its about the best your gonna get
