cell phones July 13, 2008 very easy to get a new plan and phone. Recommend to all we know
suffers from ATT service April 28, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The razr, while a decent phone, suffers from its affiliation with ATT wireless service.
I have been an ATT/Cingular customer for 4 years, and I have been relatively happy with them until a couple months ago, when ATT started raising rates on text messages multiple times over the course of just a couple months. When I called to talk to customer service, I was basically given the brush off and the message that they could do what they like with their text message rates. When my contract is up, I will be switching to Verizon or to T-mobile.
The V3 RAZR is one of the worst phones on the market. April 25, 2008 I work in the cell phone industry, and yet I was still dumb enough to buy a V3 razr. Yes, this is a slick looking phone, but that's ALL it has going for it. It is very slow, low memory, crappy performance, unstable, the menus are not very intuitive, and the phone in general is WAY over-rated. If you want this phone, get the V3xx - it has better screen resolution (240x320 instead of 176x200), is far more stable, and is a MUCH MUCH better phone over all... and it looks almost identical.
