Not Just for Motorola Radios! May 16, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Great for Midland Nautico and Midland GXT650 too. Well built arm case, two vertical velcro straps located upper back of the case with one vertical velcro strap located on the bottom back and a sewn belt strap in the middle of the back of the case giving you other carry options besides the 3 inch arm band. You can shake the case with the Midland radio inside like a can of spray paint and the radio will stay in. Pull the Midland radio up 1/2 from the case and you have access to all the buttons on the radio and the radio is still secure in the case.
Talkabout Carry Case January 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The case holds the radio well - but it is not comfortable on the arm and can fall out of case. I bought the case for my ski vacation for my family to make it easier to carry the radios - but when you fall the radio most times falls out of the case. It needs a strap around it to hold it secure.
Adequate, not great March 9, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We purchased this for use while skiing. Before the case, we put our portable radios in a pocket. This meant that when someone called, you had to stop, pull out the radio and try to communicate. Having the radio on your arm is better, because it's more accessible. However, the solution has its problems. The arm band holds the radio, but it twists around on the strap and around your arm, so that, while engaged in vigorous activity, it's not staying still. It's better than grabbing it from a pocket, though.
Holder a Plus October 16, 2005 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very good product. A plus in additional eqipt. Holder supports any situation. Great for beach or park.
Very useful. August 30, 2005 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I strongly recommend this carrying case to anyone with a TalkAbout.
The case grips the Talkabout securely, is easy to access, and allows the radio to be reinserted without too much trouble.
The only flaw I have found is that the elastic band with the Motorola emblem runs right across the tone button. It doesn't exert enough pressure to engage it by itself, but if you bump something it does have enough pressure to hold the button down. It will set off the tone until you remove the radio from the carrying case.
I used this case every day for 7 weeks this summer and was very pleased with it. I would buy it again without hesitation.
