3 out of 5 stars not that bad   July 6, 2007

-YOU CAN NOT MMS without purchasing the blackberry internet plan.
-synchronization feature is good, calendars and contacts can be changed instantly in my pc's outlook program
-if you're used to using a nokia(where things are a lot simplier and well ergonomical), its going to be a little harder at first to adjust especially with texting...
-very versatile. its alright but could be a little confusing. too many labyrinthical options.
-signal isnt very good. too many dead spots in LA under t-mobile with this phone. My old one, also under t-mobile had better reception.
-loudspeaker not that good but ok. too much echo and too much bass like you speak through your nose
-takes a while to decipher 1-800-GO-FEDEX
-video viewing capability has no use to me. wished it could record videos.
-its a very stylish phone! that's about it. next year i wont get a blackberry, ill go back to nokias and never on easily breaking motorolas
-if you dont plan to get the internet plan, DO NOT BUY A BLACKBERRY. style isnt worth it.

This phone is def. not worth the $250 I paid for it. It freezes up all the time. Its so overly complicated. I cant even add a signiture to my text messages!!

5 out of 5 stars Best phone I've had   June 29, 2007

I've been using the pearl for around 3 months and have been very happy with it. I get 3 different email accounts on the phone including my clender from work. The keyboard is a little tough to use, but its a fair tradeoff for size. The phone has some great features like mp3 and video. I usually keep 2-3 full length movies in case I am stuck waiting in line or on a plane. The internet connection isn't super fast, but its adequite to get maps or do searches. Physically, I think this is the nicest looking phone on the market. Super sharp screen and a nice feel. I recommend this phone to anyone.

This is my first Blackberry, It is really an amazing product from RIM. I am quite happy with the product. The media player quality is great. Navigation roller is a great concept it just mimics the mouse.

5 out of 5 stars Great phone, great customer service from T-Mobile   June 28, 2007

I have to say I was very impressed with all of the features this Blackberry has. What impressed me the most was the size! A full Blackberry with the size of a small cellphone, love it. T-Mobile helped me get set up and they were very polite and helpful, and their coverage is pretty strong in my area. Email and web access is pretty fast on this phone, and call quality is also pretty good. The only thing that rubs me the wrong way about this phone is the glossy finish that seems to show off every fingerprint. Other than that, very satisfied.
