Confusing Documentation October 15, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Overall like the product. The documentation is a little confusing. The manual states that the charge light turns red, then white, then off at full charge. The white light has never turned off when charging. Although emails and phone calls to the manufacturer have gone ignored, other users have posted online that the white light comes on and stays on when the unit is charged.
FYI
Should not have purchased. October 9, 2007 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
This was a mistake and a expensive one at that. It is difficult to use when it is in your ear and not worth the money. Better products on the market like the Jabra JX10. The Jawbone would only be good if you are constantly in a noisy area when using a cell phone.
Muffled and scratchy - Unsatisfactory October 7, 2007 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
Because this item depends on the contact microphone for sound pickup, it is not suitable for guys with beards! I made only two calls with this headset and both parties complained about the voice quality and high noise levels. I'm going shopping for a boom-style headset...
Very pleased... October 2, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have gone through several Bluetooth devices and this is my favorite by far. I did some research prior and found that if you replace the ear bud with a Jabra ear gel (not the minis) it has a much better fit and sound quality. Some even claim that they are able to go without the earwire (I am not able to do that). My only complaint is the volume control...you must increase the volume in preset increments and then it drops back down to the lowest volume. As for customer service, I found them to be quite accomodating even though I did not purchase the product directly from them.
Noise shield that works September 19, 2007 9 out of 11 found this review helpful
My wife and I both use a Jawbone. The auto volume and noise shield features are the best that I have ever used. Just turn it on and use it. The earloops break so have a couple of extras. Be careful when removing the charger. Do not pull off. Bend like breaking a pencil in half and the charger comes off easily. Even though I wish the Jawbone was a little more heavy duty, IT IS THE BEST SOUNDING BLUE TOOTH AROUND
