pathetic July 17, 2008 The phone is not mobile, makes a good landline as it needs to be constantly connected to a charger, the display is primitive with a lower resolution for a 3g phone, the 3G speed is the slowest (some 256/356kb theoretical practically it means 10-12 kbps), it has a bad speaker, both the phone as well as the loudspeaker, there is a constant buzzing , calls get disconnected, and the first few seconds of any call you cant hear a thing!! This phone is unacceptable in any respect considering it is new (2008).They should not have released this phone in the market at all.
Waste of money!! April 1, 2008 14 out of 17 found this review helpful
I fell in love with Nokia phones in the early 90's. I've loved every Nokia I've ever owned except this one. Within one week the outside mini display stopped working. It looks like a giant splatter mark although the phone was not mistreated. Today I noticed that the main display has started blinking and then cutting off. I tried every setting the phone had to stop the blinking. After cruising through message boards I have dicovered that other people have had the same problems with the mini display and the blinking main display. I wanted so much to love this new phone and am sorely disappointed that I cannot. I will try using the warranty through Nokia to get the phone fixed, but that leaves me with out a cell phone for two weeks. I've also heard they are bad about claiming that the phones are abused and that's the reason they no longer work, but I'll see for myself what they say... At this point in time I would not recommend this phone to my worst enemy.
