Love the phone... Can anybody tell me if/how to assign a downloaded rington to the alarm? I can only seem to use the preset (horrendous) ringtones. Thanks!

3 out of 5 stars bad calendar   January 7, 2008

stay away from this phone if you plan to sync with Microsoft Outlook calendar. first of all, recurring event in Outlook can't be sync-ed onto the phone. second, Title/subject is only 20 char long, location is 20 char long, too short to store anything meaningful such as building/room, phone bridge, etc.

5 out of 5 stars Great Phone!   December 25, 2007

I just bought 2 of these to upgrade my wife's phone and mine from a V3 and a V557. What a difference! Lots of features: mp3, video, 1.3mp camera, etc. I found a shareware video converter online and have put some videos onto the 1G microSD card (be sure to get a microSD card for it). It plays great and landscapes to use the whole screen. Another must: If you're going to use the internet and video features of this phone, be sure to get an unlimited data plan, or you'll be paying a bundle. I used 15MB+ the first day on mine just playing around with it. Even with the unlimited data plan, be careful - using some features (XM radio mobile, HBO, etc) will be billed as content. Overall a great phone and easy to use after a couple hours learning all the features and menus.

2 out of 5 stars poor reception!   December 23, 2007

I like the look of the phone, I like the features, but it has poor reception! I didn't change my provider or my plan. Just bought a new phone. I don't get reception in half the areas I used to with my older Nokia phone. It must be the phone not the provider. I switched my sim card back to my old phone used it for a few days and no reception problems!
