Piece of Junk February 24, 2008 3 out of 17 found this review helpful
Bought 3 days ago and the outer mini-screen has already failed. AT&T claims it's due to physical damage and refuses to replace.
Although the phone and inner screen still work, I seriously question the longevity and durability of this phone.
Because of this, I would advise buyers not to buy this phone!
The Best Phone I've Ever Had!!! February 20, 2008 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
I've owned this phone for about three months now and I love it. The battery life is superb and I use my phone all day long, mainly for the mp3 player. I love the fact that you can use your bluetooth headset with the mp3 player. I get great phone service and I haven't had a dropped call yet. I rarely use the camera and video settings because I have a great camera that also shoots video with sound, but it's nice to have just in case I need it. I love this phone so much that I plan to purchase one for my sister for her birthday. With an added SD memory card you can store loads of pix, video and music. You are also able to spice up the look of the phone with various snap on cases.
Anyone looking for a decent phone with little extras should not sleep on the Nokia 6085. I highly recommend that you give this phone a try!!
Nokia 6085 Is A Nice Phone January 19, 2008 21 out of 23 found this review helpful
I upgraded to Nokia 6085 from a Motorola v557. I wasn't having any problems with my Motorola v557, I just wanted to upgrade to a newer model phone. I love the looks and the size of the Nokia 6085. I also love the clarity of the sound volume, the battery life, and the ease of using it. The one small thing I don't like is that the display light on the front of the cover is not bright enough. Other than that it is a perfect phone. Some people complain that the phone has a bulky size, but that is not at all true. It's not razor thin, but it is not bulky. It's a perfect size.
Great phone January 2, 2008 24 out of 27 found this review helpful
I recently upgraded to this cell phone December 2007. So far I like this phone very much. As a hearing aid user, this phone is compatible with my hearing aid. The sound volume and quality is excellent. I will not refer to its other features as I only use this cell phone to make calls. I could care less about the camera phone or music features. Richard
Great Signal! November 13, 2007 55 out of 59 found this review helpful
We live out in the country and have trouble getting signal, because we are in a valley. We have AT&T as our service. I recently upgraded and ordered the Samsung SYNC phone. Bad decision, that phone would not even get signal at my husband's work. He is right in front of a cell tower. I tried 2 of those, both with the same result. Then I ordered the Nokia 6085. I can get signal everywhere, even in my house. I have not had a phone that did that. I only get one bar, in the house, but this phone gets a signal and holds on to it, no foolin! It's not a fancy phone, or really a very pretty phone, but what good is pretty if you can't get signal. This phone is great for that and it's the second Nokia I have had that got good signal. I think I will stick with Nokia from now on, IF I don't just decide to keep this phone til it falls apart!
