A Great Phone November 25, 2007 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
Pros- -mp3 -bluetooth -longer video time -easy use keyboard -1.2megapixel camera with special effects.
Cons- -little memory* -The stupid thing that happens while texting when it thinks it knows what you are thinking.
*Can be fixed by buying a microSD. can be found for around $8-$50+ depending on capacity.
Great cell phone for teenagers. Easy to text with. Strong. Light. Large screen, a customizable button. I really like this phone.
One Problem October 24, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've had the phone for about 2 weeks and I am unable to receive text messages from my friends who have Verizon service (I have T-mobile). I've had them call Verizon and I've been in contact with T-Mobile. I find this weird because I know the Blast is also available from Verizon. I am considering returning this phone for that reason because I find it very frustrating being that I text more than I talk. Something to consider if you are textually active across providers like my friends and I.
cool phone to save cost on email October 11, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this phone because it says no extra cost for yahoo and aol email. Yes, you only pay text message fee for checking email. Great feature. However, T mobile employee is not trained well and they don't even know this feature of SAMSUNG BLAST. I even had a argue with person in T mobile store of 3936 Rivermark Plz, Santa Clara, CA. Do not befool by these untrained T mobile employees. They just want to sell you $5.99/month web service. Only thing I am not happy is the phone comes without Micro SD card.

If you're looking for a phone that is simply exciting to use and functional, then please allow me to regale about the Samsung Blast! The Qwery keyboard, email practically, and sharp-as-a-tack pictures (thanks to a 1.3 megapixel deal), makes this particular phone not only a joy to own, but an adventure! Signal quality differs from locale to locale (no cellular is perfect in that aspect), however the BLAST is ThePhone...2own! -thank you for your attention...
NOT WORTH IT ,,, September 10, 2007 1 out of 15 found this review helpful
IT'S LIKE BUYING A BIKINI YOU'ER PAYING MORE BUT GETTING LESS AFTER OWNING THE SAMSUNG SGH T809 THIS PHONE IS SUPPOSED TO BE AN UNDATED MODEL BUT I WAS DISSAPOINTED THAT NOT ONLY IT HAS NO MEMORY, SO IF YOU PLAN ON USING THE MP3 PLAYER BE PREPARED TO SHELL OUT MONEY FOR THE MICRO CARD & THE USB CABLE YOU ALSO HAVE TO GO TO THE SAMSUNG WEBSIGHT TO DOWNLOAD THE SOFTWARE NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS PHONE IS GOING BACK I'LL STICK WITH THE OLDER MODEL(T-809).
