1 out of 5 stars never buy   July 20, 2008
I got this phone a little over a year ago april 07 and boy did i hate it i went thourgh three razors. The keypad is cheessey and it freezes in a middle of a call or sending a text message i constantly haded to take out the battery and put it back in. The battery life stunk i would leave it on all night and it would be dead the next moring so i finally upgraded to the lg env and it is the best.

WARING:NEVER BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars loved it to death   May 18, 2008
and when it died i couldn't get my numbers off it. all in all a good phone. sleek design, fun color. fun camera. easy to use. a classic.

i had this phone until about 4 days ago when i lost it :( i seriously dropped it about 8 times while i had it (like all-out, battery-falling-out drop), and it was fine each time. it always got good reception--way better than previous phones i had. it's also a very convenient size and can fit easily into small purses. i miss my phone.

5 out of 5 stars Wow, a phone that lives up to its hype.   November 26, 2007

I have had this phone for a little over a year and have to say I think it's still the best phone currently offered by Verizon. It's rugged enough to deal with life's daily hazards and also light enough to carry in your pocket.

The reception and voice clarity are second to none with voices coming in crystal clear just about everywhere. If you have the Razr with Verizon do what I did and go to the store to get it flashed to update it's UI. It operates much better with a better sounding music player and the whole phone operates much quicker. It also allows more customization like changing screen brightness and the wallpaper on the outside screen.

I don't know what people are saying about pour battery life because I can get about three hours fifty minutes talk time on a single charge. With normal use I get about two to three days use before a recharge is needed.

Sure, the Razr has been out for a while but it's still one of the best phones out there. I don't hesitate to recommend the Razr V3M and with the new update it makes the phone all that much better.

2 out of 5 stars Pretty in pink, but that's about it.   November 12, 2007

I lusted after this phone for a year till my contract was up and I could get it. My biggest, well, okay, one of my peeves, it you can't turn off the power up/down jingle when turning the phone off and on. The only way to do it is to manually push the ringer button to "off" each time before you turn it off, then remember to turn it back up when you turn the phone on. Way too much hassle. So if you're in a quiet room and want to turn your phone off/on, everybody hears it.

I also hate the red frame around the screen, you can't change it. The display color schemes are horrid, and it's hard to take a self portrait with the flip closed, the side buttons to activate the camera are hard to press and you end up with a blurry pic from pressing so hard you move the camera.

Sending a text message seems to take way more steps than it did with my old LG phone. Actually, I liked the features of my old LG VX6100 phone better, I miss the tip calculator and it was easier to navigate. At least in my opinion. I had to pay Verizon $10 to import my contact list cause I'm a dork and can't figure out how to do it myself, and all my speed dial numbers got scrambled and you can't change them back without deleting them all and re-inputting, which defeats the purpose of paying them $10.

All in all, basically, it's just a phone for show. I have a clear plastic bling case on it, and it looks cool. I don't download music and send many messages, plus I don't make or receive many calls on it, so I guess it suits the purpose. If you want bells and whistles, go elsewhere.
