Motorola v325 cell phone July 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was given this Motorola V325 cell phone for Mother's Day from my son. He also gave me the soft leather calve skin case to put it in. I just "LOVE IT". It has a Wonderful feel in your hands and takes Great pictures. It was fast to learn to operate. You could just enter the phone numbers in the memory and just hit 1,2,3,etc and get who you wanted. In the other reviews it mentions low battery life. I had no problems what so ever with that,it held the charges very well. I also took alot of pictures and keep phone on for couple of days.I would recharge in car going to work if needed. This was my first cell phone, and I was very impressed with it.But,the sad part about this is that my phone was stolen at work by a Patient I had in my office. But,the good part is I will be getting another one just like it. I give this little phone a 10 if I could. I am sorry some people have received bad ones. But,I can say my little phone was a winner. I just hope the second one is as good.
Fine except for battery life July 21, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This phone has worked fine since I got it on 9/21/06; however, it is now ten months later and I find that after a full charge, the battery dies after approximately forty minutes of use. I've stopped using the camera to save the battery. I see where others call it extremely slow. I haven't found this to be true, but then I don't need all the bells and whistles.
I've used text messaging only about ten times because I just don't get the need for texting things when you can just call someone and leave a voice message.
But I am quite unhappy over this battery situation. And it's gonna cost me forty bucks (minus 25%) for a new one.
Cheap Cheap Cheap June 22, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This phone is horrible. As the other reviewer before me stated, this is the slowest cell phone ever. It's like moving through molassas to get anywhere on the menu. No extra features like instant messaging, either. I text message a lot and it burns out my phone so I have to pull the cover and reload the battery about once a week to get this phone back in working order everytime it locks up. I will stick it out until my one year mark and then I will buying another phone!
I do not recommend! June 22, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you want to do anything besides make and answer calls this isn't the phone for you. I have never had such a slow phone. When going through the menus be prepared to wait on the phone, all the time. The Verizon software does not run well at all on this phone. After pressing the menu button and waiting, hit the end button and WAIT for it to return to the main screen. It is painfully slow. So if you like to text message be prepared to do it really slow. If you like to try to win radio contests forget it. My girlfriend's VX9800 can make 3 calls in the time it takes me to end a call and press the dial button twice (redial). IT IS SO SLOW!!!
Great little cell phone. June 20, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I chose this over an LG 5300, which I purchase for my wife. This is my third cell phone with verizon, and 4th motorola I have owned over the past 5 years. This phone is more comparable to my first phone, and best phone I owned, the V60T,an indestructable wonderful cell pone. I do not need all the bells and whistles, so I got the most basic phone I could that would also could last 2-3 years. This has a nice big screen (easy to see, great resolution), big buttons to push, and easy access to toggle your ring tones, turn on speaker phone, and use voice dial features. This is also the first phone I got a headset for, works flawlessly. Features I don't need, but have are the Bluetooth, 640x480 VGA 4x zoom camera with multiple editing capabilites, picture sending, internet access, and the list goes on. My last phone (Motorola V276) barely made it to the 2 year (battery life dying, screen glue leaking), and several falls down a flight of stairs. The V333 that I had before that had actually died about a week before the contract was up (several falls, battery life, and couldn't hear a thing). I believe this should sail through the next two years without a hick-up.
Update 5/1/2008: About 2 months ago I had to get a new battery for this phone, and have come to find out that most motorola models like this (the 323 and 325/325i) are notorious for overheating the batteries, and being poor on holding a charge. Be aware of this and do not talk on the phone while plugged in, and do not let is sit on a car charger after charge complete to preserve the battery life.
