5 out of 5 stars Overall it's a good phone   March 10, 2008

This is my second net10 phone and what an improvement they did on the phones. I upgraded to this one from the "V171" which had nothing on it. What sold me on this phone was that it was a prepaid with a camera. The phone came with a $30.00(300 minutes) card when I bought mine. The minutes are cheap and you can buy just about anywhere or online. Best feature I think. You can set the wallpaper on it from a picture that you take with it. The worse thing about the phone is that you can't move/delete the date from the picture on the wallpaper. I get better reception with this phone than my fiancee does with her "Plan phone" in alot of places. Over all if you are looking for a prepaid phone, I say go with this one.

5 out of 5 stars they finally made a decent prepaid..   February 6, 2008

Okay first off...i would like to state all of my buddies have contract phones (both boy and girl) so the fact i didnt really pissed me off..and could only get a prepaid, but looking what was on the market, alls i found was a big pile of crap..until i found this thing...it has a camera cheap minutes,it has a built in Fm Radio wich is very nice if your on the road,i can buy and download music tones from either the phone or the internet and it doesnt look like a prepaid Phone at all!there are a couple minor complaints...but its nothing to serious

Pros
-----

1.)the camera is my personal favorite.
2.)with only 10 cents a min and 5 cent text messaging its very affordable
3.)The Games are GREAT!they are better then most of my friends phones games (and yes they are contract phones)
4.)excellent service (both bars and customer!)
5.)U Can Hear great from either line on a call.
6.)There are many more...but those are the main

Cons
-----

1.)No Screen in front...not a big deal just a little irritating if u want to see the time or whos calling.
2.)No Bluetooth, wasnt expecting it but would have been a very nice feature.
3.)u need to have headphones pluged in (2.5mm) to listen to the radio even if u want it on speaker they need to be plugged in.

Overall for my first phone it was the best choice i could have made.i Reccomend it to anyone!

3 out of 5 stars Net 10 and Motorola could have done better...   January 3, 2008

I bought the Nokia 1600 from Net 10 and was VERY pleased with the Quality of the phone and Service; however, I decided to upgrade to the Motorola W375 and Whoa!!! This phone is a power hog!!! or maybe I got a crappy battery. I had noticed that the on/off button was picky and inconsistent about how long to hold it down to turn the phone on and off (usually 5 seconds to power on is normal). I noticed that the games on this phone are awesome; however, the phone's processor is not fast enough to provide smooth video to the screen during game play - the games are so fun that one seriously stresses to overlook this petty annoyance . I was also disappointed with the speed of Net 10's web access ("data services") on this phone, it took over 10 minutes to load the default homepage. I have lots of experience with mobile devices, networks, computers, etc. and have just ventured into the world of cell phones. Cell phone technology reminds me of the palm pilot technologies, only with less flexibility for synchronization with a PC ( although this is subject to change based on the phones offered by the carrier). I did notice the USB port on the phone( it's used to charge the phone's battery). I didn't like the silicone cover for the USB port that dangles off the phone, it could be torn off with normal wear and tear. I did like the fact that Motorola offers phone tools software but, sadly, I never got a chance to fully explore the functionality of it with the W375.

I purchased tis phone from a local store and after a month it started to die within about 8 hours. I called customer service and they promptly sent out a new battery only tohave the same problem return. I called them that same day and they sent me a new phone which I received in 2 days . The new one works fine and I would recommend Net10 to anyone that wants a great phone coupled to great customer service. They definately stand behind their product.
