Great June 8, 2008 I looked around for HD cables for my new Wii and found this vendor and product to take of my needs. Product was shipped as described and done so in a quick manner. Looks almost identical to the "real" ones made by Nintendo. Cables are thick and seem to be of high quality. No problems!
sick! works great June 5, 2008 this works great for the pricw i got it for. a must buy, i used to work at radioshack and all the cables are the same, if you buy one for 40 dollars, it will be the same thing for only less than 10 dollars.
buy!!!!!!
Not Suitable for Some Home Theater Set Ups June 4, 2008 3 out of 10 found this review helpful
I rated this a one star based on my perspective only, but can understand why some people would rate this product much higher.
This cable has digital video output in the form of Component (HD) Video Cables (red, blue, green), and Composite (Analog) Audio Cables (red, white).
The Video and Audio cables are bunched together. I have an old home theater receiver with no Component Video inputs. Therefore I split the audio directly to my receiver and video directly to the TV. This works well with my PS3 and HD Cable box. Unfortunately, these cables are closely bunched together and too short to split the video directly to the TV and audio directly to the Receiver.
The cable is good for people: a) who use receivers with Component Video inputs b) who hook up audio directly to the TV
The cable is bad for people who split video directly to TV and audio to a receiver. It's just too short.
The Video quality of the Component Cables is a small but noticeable improvement over the original Composite (yellow) Cable. Personally, I'd rather stick to the original cables that came with the Wii and sacrifice a small picture improvement for the ability to send the audio to surround sound.
But don't expect dramatic improvements with video. The Wii does not output in HD, so the best you can do is 480p anyway. Still, it's a pretty cheap cable even with shipping charges, so you may want to give it a try if it suits your home theater set up.
Works perfectly June 2, 2008 At first I was a little hesitant at the low price, but this Wii component cable works perfectly. The shipping cost was lower than most also.
Awesome Bargain May 31, 2008 Didn't think component connections would make a difference on the video game but it definitely did. And the price made it an incredible bargain.
