This is a great product. My Dell laptop (only a year old) has a tendency to overheat and the fans turn on very high. But since using the Xpad, my laptop always stays cool and hasn't had to turn on the fans. It's wonderful because I like to do work in bed, and now never have to worry about it overheating when i set it on the blankets. Its small enough that you get used to it and its not cumbersome at all!
You will be satisfied with this great product!!!!

I did my research on a lap mat for my laptop and was very disappointed with many models until I read about this one. I ordered it because it received so many good reviews and was not another powered item I would have to deal with. My laptops [and I own 3] are all on elevating tools on desks to keep them running cool and I wanted something that would fit on the laptop I use while sitting in my chair or in bed with ease. This does just that! I ordered it on Tuesday evening and Thursday afternoon I recieved it with standard shipping which was amazing. I immediately put my laptop on it and I know I will not remove it. It is wonderful! I love it! I own HP Pavillions and the 15" screen model fits perfectly on it. It does keep the heat off my knees and thighs. My laptop does not slip either. Some of the reviews said the chill mat was expensive but what isn't these days? The expense will pay for itself I am sure with no more iritated skin and less strain on the computer. It is light so it will be easy to travel with. I intend to order more and give them as Christmas gifts. This is a great assessory and I am sure with normal care it will last a long time. Thanks again for a great product and especially the great fast shipping! Since I am traveling next week I appreciated the item arriving so quickly even more. Buy it-- you will not be disappointed!

This item does not necessarily keep my lap cool. I have to put another book under it & my laptop so that my thighs are not hot. It didn't live up to my expectations from what I read in the description.

I have had my xpad for about 10 months now, and never use my (relatvely small) laptop without it. Not only does it keep the laptop and my lap cool, but it also prevents me from flexing the power cord that sticks out the back of the computer. This was a problem in the past, and caused the plug to become loose in the jack. Now that I use the xpad, that no longer happens.

I love this laptop cooler. This is the second of this type of product I've bought and this surpasses the other for a couple of reasons. First being that you do not have to plug it in for it to work, so it doesn't draw on the already short battery life of your laptop. Second, I love the non-slip pads that really keep it from sliding around and the way it lifts my laptop off any surface, keeping it cool. It's a brilliant way to keep your laptop from overheating without the annoying noise of those USB plug-in types with the fans. Not to mention that it keeps your legs from the intense heat of your laptop. I'm even going to buy another one for my DVR that has a tendency to overheat in the cabinet under the TV! I highly recommend this product! A++
