 Not loud enough August 9, 2008
I drive a 2005 Beetle. Road noise is too loud to make this effective when I am driving. The volume just isn't loud enough for me to hear clearly. It was a total waste of money for me.

I needed to get some kind of bluetooth device because I live in CA. I have a real problem with ear pieces so I purchased the Jabra speakerphone. While this unit is easy to use and does what it's supposed to do, I'm giving it 4 stars because of a few querks: It doesn't always pair with my phone when I turn the unit on and I sometimes need to turn it off and back on. I'm only able to successfully use the voice calling feature about 70% of the time but I don't know if that's a problem with the speakerphone or with the phone itself. It's somewhat difficult to see the LED readout and I sometimes leave the unit on. However, it has a handy feature that shuts itself off if it is not paired for 15 minutes. It doesn't come with an AC charger. You can either charge the unit with the car-supplied charger or buy a separate adapter. Finally, the volume is a bit on the low side. These are all rather minor issues. For the most part I like the speakerphone and I recommend it for anyone who doesn't want an ear piece.

This works great. It was easy to set up and easy to use. People in the back seat can even talk on it when it is on my visor. Wish I had found it years ago.

The JABRA hands free phone answering system is superb. You can hear people clearly without a lot of interference. It was recommended to me by my girlfriend, and I ordered one for me and one for my son. It makes it so easy.

This product not only complies with the CA requirement to use hands free cell in a vehicle.....but it is also extrememy easy to use, and reports from people I talk to say its crystal clear......they cant even tell im using hands free. Clips right on the car visor...
I rate it 5 stars, for easy use, and clear voice transmission both sending and receiving..
