I bought these because I've been trying to make small changes to help preserve this wonderful planet of ours for my son (and his kids). I chose these particular items for the price since everything else I looked at was very expensive - I've used these for about two weeks now - they hold up very well (I have had them packed full!) - they are easy to carry and I always get questions because of the wonderful colors! A very good way to get started on the small changes that add up to big things!

My quest to do my part to reduce waste and live in a more environmentally friendly way made me long to ditch the plastic shopping bags once and for all. However, I had always been a bit reluctant because it seemed everything I saw by way of reusable bags was in small canvas tote form. I wanted something that would be practical in that it would hold a lot as well as something that would wear well. After reading the positive reviews for this product, I decided to take the plunge.
Am I glad I did! Not only was the shipping unbelievably fast, the product itself is great and the vendor included a complimentary hot/cold insulated tote, which I very much appreciated. I was immediately impressed by how large the bags were. As at least one other reviewer has noted, they are about the size of a paper grocery bag, which means they hold far more than plastic bags. I also find them far easier to organize than plastic grocery bags because you can organize your purchases neatly within them and not worry about things falling out and rolling around like they do with loose plastic bags. The plastic insert gives them a nice, sturdy bottom, and the handles make them very easy to carry. I loaded one up with several 2 liter bottles and found them much less of a burden to carry than the plastic bags--no nasty handles cutting into my hand. All in all, I am very pleased with the quality of the product and glad to be reducing my plastic bag consumption.

I waited for a while before posting my review of these bags (about a month). They arrived before stated date and with two free gifts. A little pen and one of their 'cold' bags. Looked great when I got them and I felt comfortable giving one set as a gift as I had intended. We both have been using ours regularly and they have held up very well and still look great. I haven't had anything spill on them yet so I will be interested in how they clean up bu overall these bags rock! I will certainly be getting and giving more in the future.

I have been using these bags for about a month now and I have to say they are even better than I expected them to be. The hard bottom insert is great for supporting heavier groceries. Five bags replaces about 10 Walmart plastic bags. They pack really well. I have actually had one checker thank me for using these bags. Would highly recommend and will probably give them as gifts to friends and family.
