Good protective case for 3g August 17, 2008
This case does a good job of protecting the phone. I like that it's sturdy and also slightly thicker than the phone so the screen is protected from drops. The pattern on the back doesn't do anything for me and can collect dirt, but all in all this does everything I bought it for: protects the phone from drops and provides a non-skid back which is less likely to slide around in the car or fall out of a shirt pocket.

This case is attractive and does a good job of protecting my phone but being silicone, it gets lint and misc stuff stuck all over it. Good shock absorber - I've dropped the phone a couple of times with no ill effects at all! Overall good product.

This looked like a good bargain, but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who carries their phone in their pocket.
Because, as other reviewers have noted, the skin doesn't fit snugly on the phone, the skin pops off regularly. I often go to fish the phone out of my pocket, and find I have left the skin behind.

Purchased the skin a month ago, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the toughness of the skin. I wanted a soft skin that was lightweight yet offers some sort of protection for the iPhone 3g. This item met my expectations spot on, and fits my iPhone 3g perfectly. The trim was measured out perfectly, and the skin does not interfere with the phone's functions. This package also comes with an invisible screen protector - which does exactly as its name suggests. The screen protector, although not necessary - as the iPhone 3g front surface is almost impenetrable - does a good job and does impede or interfere with the touchscreen.

I was looking for a slim-fitting case that didn't add any extra bulk to my iPhone 3G...this definitely fits the bill. Like others stated, the back has little diamond-shaped texturing that makes it easier to hold. The case is very slim, so it doesn't affect the overall shape of the phone. I also like that it only covers the very edge of the phone so you don't have those unsightly cut-outs for the speakers, home button, etc.
My only concern is that the case doesn't fit very snugly on the phone like a true "skin" would. If you like the case to be easily taken on and off, then this might be the right product for you. I guess I thought it would it fit snugly enough to keep dust and dirt out, but the sides easily lift out and off.
I haven't used the LCD protector because I had already installed the anti-glare film purchased from another company. If you're looking for a bargain skin, this is it. Just be patient, the shipping took much longer than expected!!! I didn't receive a shipment notification until a week after I had ordered it. When ordering w/ Amazon, I've never had any item take longer than 3-5 days to arrive.
