Excellent little player September 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My only complaint is the gigantic box shipped with the ipod. The ipod was smaller than i expected, much smaller than the new 4th gen. sound and video playback are excellent. i have it connected to my car stereo and it sounds excellecnt even at full volume. the included headphones suck though. Very nice player i would recommend that you get one, if you can find one lol
good sounds September 17, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased the Apple iPOD NANO 4GB 3RD GENERATION ON 08/17/08 I AM SEVENTY YEARS OLD AND DON'T CARE FOR NEW GADGETS BUT THIS iPOD WAS EASY TO SET UP AND I HAVE DOWN LOADED SONGS FROM MY CD'S AND PURCHASED SONGS ON LINE AND DOWN LOADED THEM. I REALLY ENJOY THE iPOD. THE SOUND IS VERY GOOD AND IT IS EASY TO CARRY AROUND.
Wh could complain? This is the best ipod by far. September 16, 2008 i really don't understand all the negative 1 star reviews? This is the best and most lightwieght music player to date. it is perfect for working out or travel and these people writing 1 star reviews have issues. I recommend it to anyone who works out or wants a way to always have their music with them in a portable format - and at 8GB it stores a lot - same as the good iphone.
Won't play all your audio files! September 16, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Unlike other MP3 players out there, this ipod (and all others) won't play protected WMA media, which is a lot of media out there.
If you want to play ALL your music or audiobooks, get a Zen or other non-Apple media player. They may not be as stylish and trendy, but they work better and they will cost you less cash.
My current favorite of all the iPods! September 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Of course, everyone knows that whenever you buy an iPod, soon after the geniuses at Apple will unleash another one which is better than yours. Even after seeing the 4th-gen nanos, I still think that this is the best iPod that Apple has made so far. It is basically all of the good things from every other one so far packed into the 3rd-gen nano, which is this one. It is very easy to use, for those of you who aren't familiar with iPods. It is very simple, and to the point. The lists of songs, artists, albums, genres, etc. are very organized and in a clear, easy-to-read font. The click wheel, I noticed, is a bit less sensitive than the 1st and 2nd-gen nanos. Unlike the first nanos, this one has the capacity for many types of video such as tv shows, movies and more. And the 8 GB (up to 2,000 songs) is just enough for me. I absolutely love the color blue also. The overall design of it is very appealing, and similar to the iPod classic. The battery life lasts a lot longer, usually about 24 hours when you first get it. One thing that I really like is the search, where you can search for anything on your iPod, like songs or albums. There are also several built-in games, or you could buy more on iTunes. I have had this iPod for almost a year and I am very happy with it. It is very durable, and it was able to hold up for several months until I got a good case for it. I would say to get this iPod if you want a reasonable price, a good amount of media on it, and all the basic features.
