A very compact device, this drive holds your SD card, allowing for easy USB connection.
I have been using it for about one month with no problems. This unit is not quite as easy to use as a Thumb drive, as you have to open it first, to insert the disk. Exposed contacts inside suggest that they are to be handled with care.

The device must be cracked open to insert the XD Card exposing the circuit board. I think there's less chance of damaging the card or the card reader if you could just insert the card into a slit, like in other devices. Compact size is a pro.

This item is great for XDcards. However, the description from amazon implies that it will read ALL card types and not just XD cards:
The drives can accommodate most card formats including Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard, Sony Memory Stick, Compact Flash Types I and II, MicroDrives and xD
There are DIFFERENT drives for each media, not just one drive.
