NEVER SHOWED UP!!! December 12, 2007 My experience with this company (XP Passport) was horrid. The product never showed up after an entire month. When I contacted the company they said it was on backorder and that they'd ship it out that week overnight priority when it arrived. They didn't even bother to do that! I got an email that said that my order had been cancelled. Nice, now I have to find somewhere else to get it to me by Christmas. Never buy anything from XP PASSPORT!!! Their customer service department is horrid as well.
Great for the gym November 4, 2007 Very neat and compact.... The thing is that prepare for the plastic to tear! I have to think about getting a new one after almost a year. It was fun while it lasted!
Great for biking and running! August 23, 2007 I'm one of those guys who bought the iPod Mini before the Nano ever came into existence. I recently picked up biking this past summer and wanted my iPod along for the ride. I was happy to find this product and bought it immediately. It's perfect for strapping around your arm as you bike or run. It's very comfortable and doesn't irritate me as I ride. I'd recommend this product for anyone who has the Mini (few of you out there, I'm sure) and needing something to hold it while you exercise.
Works great May 29, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this armband for my iPod mini to use while running and it works great. The band is wide so it's comfortable. I have skinny runner's arms and it fits just fine. Stays snug and in place during all my runs from 6 to 20 milers. My only gripe is that the rubberized sleeve you put the iPod in which the armband itself attaches to has a hole in it where the cable that connects the iPod to the computer plugs in. Makes sense, as the whole idea is to put the iPod in the rubberized sleeve and you leave it here. I wear the iPod upside down on my arm so that when I look down at the display the display is facing the right way to be read. Unfortunately though it means sweat can drip down and into the hole in the iPod itself which can't be good for it. It's not a design flaw in the product, but some sort of little trap door or some sort of plug to cover the hole would be a neat feature. I solved the problem by putting a small strip of tape across it. I still rate it a 5 out of 5. It also comes with a lanyard to wear around your neck and a swivel belt attachment. Both of those are well constructed, although since I bought it strictly for running I haven't used those items. The item shipped from an Office Depot subsidiary and from time of order to time of arrival to my front door was 4 days. Excellent on all counts.
Plastic clip broke first day, but I'm still using the rest of it January 26, 2007 I read the reviews about this being a poorly constructed product, but I couldn't resist the price. The plastic clip broke the first time I used it, but so far, the rest of it (arm band, lanyard, and "rubber sleeve") is working well.
