5 out of 5 stars AMAZING ... a must have for any game   September 30, 2008
I have played with Falcon today and it is a true paradigm shift for any game. The feedback is so real, it is absolutely mind-blowing. Whether you walk, drive, climb, shoot, catch or carry something the feeling is just amazing ... the game is becoming much more real.
I tried it with several genres and I am sure, once you try it, you won't want to live without it. And it is so intuitive, I was up to speed in a just few minutes.
It also has a high quality and is very rugged.

This thing is the best innovation for games since the mouse has been invented.

The only thing: You will need a little more space on your desk ... hey, but what's that for a whole new world?

Many big games have already been adapted to the Falcon and more are scheduled to come shortly. It is an absolute MUST HAVE.
Today I have heard that in addition to the newly released gun, a Falcon steering wheel is also in the works.

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding new way to control PC games   August 18, 2008

I'm a big fan of arcade shooters with a lot of recoil (operation wolf, LA machineguns, etc) The added recoil really adds immersion. The falcon is a great way to add that immersion to PC games. You could call it a force feedback device, but that doesn't really do it justice. It's definitely, as the maker says, a haptic device: able to generate several pounds of force. It can be used for all sorts of games, but I normally use it for FPS. Which is good that most of the upcoming haptic supported games will be shooters. This is a great peripheral and a ton of fun to play.

4 out of 5 stars Innovative Product, needs more support   August 9, 2008

In general this is truly an amazing product and even goofing around with the included cd worth of "games", and such, illustrates its potential.

That said, the fact that currently its not well supported in the game market, plus the fact that it is rather bulky are a couple of downsides.

I would recommend the product though because there have been announcements by gaming companies of future support.

5 out of 5 stars Truly innovative, this has amazing potential and deserves your support!   January 30, 2008

This is a very new product, but it is built very well and offers an experience that no other device can offer (not even the wii). While some of the software doesn't really use its full potential, there are titles out now that begin to showcase what this can do and I bet that even better software will be coming shortly. The company making this clearly believes in what they are doing and offer some of the best customer support you can find anywhere. The more people that get this the more support it will get and it deserves it, so what are you waiting for?

5 out of 5 stars Excellent product, can't wait for additional games and support   January 15, 2008

The device itself is incredibly well designed, that much is clear from the first time you get to use it. It works beautifully, and while it takes a little bit of getting used to, its really changes the experience of any game you can use it in. The downsides currently - obviously its a pricy product for the current uses, tack on the cost of several new games and enthusiasts are the most likely to buy. Also its still in the early stages of game development support, but the Novint team does actively involve themselves and the community in their work, so its good to know progress is continually being made. I definitely enjoy mine, and have a blast showing it to family, friends - anyone really.
