Great Holder!!!!! October 15, 2007
When I first purchased my Nuvi, I used the suction cup attachment, but the Nuvi kept falling off. Now I use this mount, and it stays put on my dash board whether it's dusty or not. It only moves when I move it. I love it!!
Better than Expected October 13, 2007
After reading reviews on this, I thought it would be much bigger and bulkier than it is. I was very pleasantly surprised how small it was. It works just great with my Nuvi 250W. Very stable and doesn't move at all. I like that you can put it anywhere on the dashboard that you want and no ugly suction cup things on the windshield. Also like that you can totally hide it when not in use. Leaves no signs that you have GPS at all. Would highly recommend this product!
Portable mount for Garmin nuvi 660 October 13, 2007
I took this device on a 1000 mile trip, it functioned flawlessly in my Honda Accord. Easy to position, stayed in place. And it did not leave the dreaded suction-cup mark on the windshield.
A much better substitute for the the suction cup mount October 13, 2007
I had problems with the suction cup mount as it often fell down, especially in hot weather when the temperature of the windshield drops after you start AC. This friction mount has a much better design; it never falls down from the dashboard. It is also very convenient to use. If you have any problems with your original suction cup mount, buy this one. You wouldn't be disappointed!
Looks Retarded But Works Well October 13, 2007
It looks baggy, not as clean as windsheild mount. But it works well. I can easily move it to the passenger seat to avoid sun heat or hide it when not using. You can rotate it 360 degrees.
